April Favorites 2016 // Blogging Hiatus

May 3, 2016

We are three days into May and although I am a few days late I didn't forget about monthly favorites! I don't really have a lot of favorites for the month of April to be honest. The first item I wanted to mention is this Luna P plush I got at this anime convention back in March. I love the way it contrasts against my bed and I always have to put it in the middle of my pillows. I grew up on Sailor Moon so anything Sailor Moon I will automatically love...most of the time.
A makeup item that I am absolutely in love with and am happy that I finally decided to purchase it is the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade "Noble." I am all about nude lips and my all time favorite lipstick shade is Rimmel London's #113. I have two tubes of this lipstick but now I am definitely going to be stocking up on this liquid lipstick because it's basically the Rimmel London lipstick in a liquid lipstick form. I would describe the color as a coral-undertoned nude so it does have a slight orange tint to it.
Two songs that I've been loving for the month of April were Aluna George's "I Remember" featuring Flume and Gold Link's "Spectrum." Aluna George actually came out with two new songs this month, "I Remember" and "My Blood." I haven't given "My Blood" a full listen yet but "I Remember" has been on repeat for literally the whole month.
Earlier this month Marzia released her debut book "Dream House" and if you know me I admire Marzia so much that without a doubt I pre-ordered the book. I just finished it about two days ago and let me just say that toward the last couple chapters I was getting impatient with myself and wished I had the ability to read faster because the book was getting so intense that I just wanted to know what was going to happen next! Literally a real page turner. I will say that it does start out a bit slow but not to the point that you want to set the book down and then you forget about it the next day. It's a fairly easy read and although some may say the ending was a little predictable, I still enjoyed it nonetheless, and not just because Marzia wrote it.

To end my favorites I saved one of the best for last and it is an anime called "Your Lie In April" (get it? April...cause that's what month we're in..) my friend Eshie told me about this sometime earlier in the year and I don't know what took me so long to start watching it. I literally cried so much watching this anime and I don't want to give anything away but let's just say that everyone I know and including myself say that they love this anime and you NEED to watch it. I love the artworsk and the storyline and the character development is just ughhhh LOVE THIS ANIME.
And to end this post I just wanted to announce that I will be going on a blogging hiatus just because I am dealing with a lot of personal problems right now and blogging just isn't a priority to me. I do have a couple of posts that are just about done and a few in the queue so after those are finished up and posted I doubt any more posts will be going out after that. Same possibly goes with my vlogs too, I haven't been in the best of moods and just a lot of things going on with me right now that I don't fell it is a priority to vlog either. I know it kind of sucks because I recently just picked up vlogging but timing can be a bitch and I really have to focus on more important life matters right now. I hope you guys will understand.
