1. The Mindy Project
I just stared this series and I instantly got hooked to it. I love Mindy Kaling's character and her as an actress overall. She's super funny and relatable. The show is about a successful doctor named Mindy Lahiri who's aspiring to become a better person. She wants to leave her romantic-comedy-stay-at-home-movie-watching self behind and get her life more on track. She has a lot of fall backs and finds herself going back to old habits but she keeps pushing herself to move forward. If you love romantic comedies then I would look into watching this show. I'm already on Season two and I'm sure at this rate I'll probably be caught up with the most recent episode by the summer time.
2. Bruce Springsteen Shirt
Ever since my boyfriend gave me this shirt I have been grabbing for it every time I go out. It's just an easy shirt to style and I like how it can be dressed up or dressed down. I needed a staple graphic shirt in my closet and I think this is the right match for me. Also if you guys are wondering where the shirt is from my boyfriend said he got it at H&M and also the mustard cardigan in the photo is from Urban Outfitters.

3. It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Color Correcting Full Coverage Cream + Anti-Aging Hydrating Serum CC+ Cream $38

As you may know, I have been wanting to try this CC cream for the absolute longest and I finally decided to give it a try! If you want to read my full review of this product then C L I C K H E R E. Overall this has been my go to product all month long and I've really grown to love it. It's lightweight and matches my skin tone perfectly. I would definitely look into this product if you're someone that doesn't like heavy foundations but still want some coverage.
4. Anastasia Beverly Hills Duo Brow Powder $23

I have tried almost every type of brow product on the market. I've tried the pommades multiple pencils, different powders, etc., but nothing has made my eyebrows as on fleek as the ABH Duo Brow Powder. It has a natural finish which is what I like best and even though it's a powder it usually lasts me all day. I rarely ever have to do touch ups on my brows throughout the day when I use this.
5. Soap and Glory Hand Food $4

My hands have been suffering throughout this cold weather. The word "dry" is an understatement when it comes to how dry my hands have been, but luckily I purchased this hand cream by Soap and Glory! It has literally moisturized my hands back to life and for only $4 it was more than worth it.
6. Cage The Elephant - "Telescope"
I don't know what it is about this sound but I just clicked with it the moment I heard it. Even though it sounds like a song that would play in a movie during the scene right after a break up and the character is going through a stage of depression, nostalgia, and question where their life went wrong but somehow finds hope again. I don't know, it's just a good song that I could not stop listening to all month and is a really good song to play in the background while you reflect back on your life, but that's probably just me lol.
7. Sunday Riley Power Couple Complete Transformation Kit $78
I talked about this kit earlier this week and to no surprise it has made it's way into my favorites. It has changed my skin like no other products out there and it really does stand by it's name and completely transforms your skin. My skin has never felt and or looked better in so long I can't even remember the last time I felt comfortable with just a bare face. And because of this kit applying makeup is a lot smoother because the texture of my skin has changed dramatically, and it's just a dream and basically a blessing having this product in my life. 10/10 completely loving this product and will most definitely have to purchase the full size whenever I run out, which I may add might be quite a long time from now because a little bit of this product goes a long way so that's also a plus. Also I only try to use this every other day because I feel that because the formulas are so potent that I don't think it's necessary to use this consecutively. Overall I strongly recommend this to everyone out there because it will change your skin and your life.
8. Belief The True Aqua Bomb $38

When I'm not using the Sunday Riley products I grab for this moisturizing gel. Especially with the cold weather my skin has been extra dry, but with this I have no more flaking skin or dry patches on my face. After my second time applying this to my skin my face has been thanking me ever since. My skin is firmer, plump, and of course feels and looks more hydrated.
That's it's for this month's favorites. I am definitely going to try my best and keep these monthly favorites going so until next time <3 What were some of your favorites this month? I would love to read about them in the comments below. Also if you have any further questions about any of items I mentioned, feel free to ask! :)

Today's post is going to be a review on my recent It Cosmetics purchases. The only other product I've tried from It Cosmetics before this was their "Bye Bye Redness" concealer and I totally regret not repurchasing that product when I was at the store because I could seriously just wear that product by it self and it was just cover up any redness I had on my face. But enough about what could've been and more onto what this post is really about.
The first product I'm going to mention is the It Cosmetics Brush Bath Purifying Brush Cleanser and this retails for $18 at Ulta. I ran out of my Beauty Blender Solid Brush Cleanser a long time ago and I was stalling on buying a new brush cleanser because, I'll be honest, I was just being cheap. But my brushes were in desperate need of being cleaned and I was just browsing the shelves in the store and came across this and thought, "Why not?"

It's been a while since I did a haul post and that's mostly because I haven't really been out shopping lately. But I went shopping earlier this month and thought I deserved to treat myself to a nice thing or two. I am slowly starting to grow a bit obsessed with Ulta because it offers both high end brands and drug store brands. So if you're interested in what I got keep on reading and don't forget to share your thoughts and comments down below! And as always links are provided for each product listed for those interested in certain items mentioned :)

The sun is out and the snow is slowly starting to melt away. Fortunately for me the sun melted away all the snow that was burying my car. Now, I'm catching up on a lot of cleaning and just doing chores around the house. And with all this free time I've had I've been able to work ahead on a lot of blog posts. I'm almost done with this Harry Potter puzzle. I say it's been an incredibly productive couple of days, now my next biggest challenge is having to drive to work tomorrow, because this girl has very little to no experience driving in the snow so let's hope I don't die. *Knocks on wood*
Peep these cute Christmas Themed pug socks my friend Ariele gave me
I'm trying to fight off this small cold before it gets any worse because Lord knows I don't think I could handle another day stuck in the house lol. Also has anyone else heard about this #SnowChallenge trend going on on Instagram? People are pretty much diving into snow with minimal to almost no amounts of clothing. And although it's crazy that people got snow almost up to 6 feet high and are able to actually dive full body into the snow, but c'mon now guys ever heard of pneumonia?! But anywho I hope you guys are enjoying your snow days! Remember to stay warm and also to bring your pets inside! Please do not let them suffer in the cold, they want to snuggle by the fireplace too <3

Day two of the Snowocalypse was more spent inside than in the snow. Fortunately the snow has stopped falling but is making it's way up the east coast. So Anthony is practically buried in snow in New York right now, which sucks because that just delays his birthday gift getting to him! Agh, darn you snow. But I can't be too mad, I can spend my day watching all the anime I want and take all the naps I can. Yeah, I'm really bumming it out today guys. How are you guys spending your snow days?  And I don't know if it's just me or is there a really bad case of headaches going around? Because I've been having on-and-off headaches since yesterday and nothing I do seems to help. Any suggestions?

Nashville has been blanketed with snow today. This is probably the first time in years that Nashville has seen a snowfall like this. Last year we got snow but then that snow turned into deadly ice and usually when we do get snow it never sticks. But even right now the snow is still falling and frankly I'm sure there is probably about a foot of snow sitting on top of my car right now. It's kind of crazy because about two weeks ago we were enjoying 70 degree weather.
When you ask your brother to help you take pictures of yourself and tell him to "take a alot" and this happens.

The winter aesthetic is too real right now. And excuse my misplaced eyebrow hairs but check out the snow man lol. It kind of sucks that Nashville pretty much shuts down whenever we get bad weather like this, but then again it's nice to stay home and annoy my little brother. Our backyard is a hill so we used some boxes to sled and it was pretty fun! I've never sledded before; I almost faceplanted in the snow but it was still fun nonetheless.
I'm kind of scared that it's going to keep snowing to the point that we're all stuck in our houses until the weather gets warmer. Aka the "Snow-pocalypse" is what people have been calling it. So hopefully the snow will lighten up a little bit, although the snow is nice and all, I don't want to go insane from cabin fever haha. Also if you don't have to drive please don't and if you do make sure to be extra careful and to let someone else know where you're going just in case you end up getting stuck. Kitty litter and salt is major key when it comes to driving in snow so if you're able to drive be sure to pick some up while you're out!
Have a fun snow day everyone but remember to be careful and stay warm!

Hi gems! Just wanted to pop in and make a quick post because today is a good day you guys. Aluna George just released a new single called "I'm In Control."  You can listen to it right here on the blog or check it out on the Aluna Geroge Soundcloud
This song has such a summer vibe to it, which is what I needed on this snowy day here in Nashville.
This song is a bit different than the usual Aluna George sound but still a good song nonetheless. And just look at how gorgeous Aluna looks for the cover of the single. Stunning as always.
I cannot wait to see them perform live again <3

Anyone who knows me should know that pink is my ultimate favorite color. And Simone Rocha's AW13 line put the color pink on a pedestal like no other. I am a bit embarrassed to admit that I've never heard of Simone Rocha prior until just recently when I stumbled across a photo of her fashion line on Pinterest, but ever since discovering her designs I have been completely obsessed ever since!

My favorite piece from the Simone Rocha AW13 line were definitely these baby pink shoes. They are the perfect shade of pink and the glass heel adds the perfect touch. It's kind of like a modern take on Cinderella's glass slipper.

Also if you're someone who always needs a little glits and glam in your life there's also a more "in your face" statement shoe from this line as well. Actually I'm not even sure if these shoes are still available but I'm sure there are more affordable alternatives out there.

This pictures is my definition of "Squad Goals."  I am just so in love with these pieces from Simone Rocha that I feel so ashamed that I didn't discover her sooner! But now I am for sure going to stay updated with her work because even though I only included a few pictures from her past collections, I've seen other previous works of hers and I am completely in love with basically everything she designs and does.

Although I am always down for a neutral palette and go towards more muted colors when it comes to my wardrobe I have been trying to expand the pink section of my closet. And needless to say that I am not ashamed that I have about 3-4 of almost the exact same pink sweater/tops. Also I'm pretty proud of the tiny pink section in my closet, something about it makes me feel all happy inside, and I know that's weird but whatever.

What's your favorite color to wear? Or just your favorite color overall?
Let me know in the comments down below!
And thanks for reading!
Until next time <3

Hi loves! Today's post is going to be pulling at your heartstrings a bit, or idk maybe it's going to make you barf at how sappy and cheesy it's going to be, but I wanted to make a post in honor of my boyfriend's birthday today! He's a lot older than he looks, let me just tell you that lol. It is kind of mind blowing to me that this is our second birthday together. We have been together for almost two years but it seems like just last month we were sharing almonds in the Forever 21 break room and that I thought his name was Nathan haha.
I never would have imagined us having come so far or that the guy I liked actually liked me back! (Like seriously guys, this never happens ever haha) I remember our first movie date was at my house and we watched "Sandlot" and how I joked that he was Squints and I was Wendy Peffercorn.  Although we've been doing long distance for 90% of our relationship I feel it's only made our relationship stronger. And no that is not me trying to brag at all, but it just goes to show that if you really want to be with someone you don't let tedious things like distance get in the way. And just like any other couple I get mad at him for stupid stuff and he gets mad at me for getting mad at him but we still seem to tolerate each other somehow some way at the end of the day lol.

He is my backbone and my number one supporter in everything I pursue and it's so strange how just one person can change your whole life. I honestly think he is a blessing in my life and that my father brought him to me because we met just a little before my father passed away. And the chances of us meeting were like 1 in a million! He just moved to Nashville from New York about a month or two before we first met and sometimes I forget how lucky I am that we met. I can't imagine what life would be like right now if I never got that job at Forever 21 (and coincidentally he had an interview at F21 the day after me). I don't know what I did to deserve such a great guy like him but I'm making sure I do everything I can to not screw this up!

So happy birthday, ya poop. I hope you know how much I love you :)

Happy Birthday, Ya Poop.

My mind has been on nothing but spring time. And whenever I think of Spring I think of pastels. Although I'm always for my muted-toned colors, I've always had a love for pastels. Sadly I don't have enough pastels in my wardrobe but sometimes you can include pastels in other ways like your makeup or even your hair!

I have always wanted colored hair ever since high school. It's been on my bucket list for the longest to have baby pink hair but I tried that once and the bleaching process and the damage it did to my hair was just NO BUENO. I've thought about just buying a wig so that way I can have pink hair whenever I wanted without causing anymore damage to my hair. So if you guys know of a legit and trustworthy place to buy wigs online let me know!

What are you looking forward this Spring season?

What are you looking forward this Spring season?

Good morning lovlies! I just wanted to make a quick post on what I've been up to since the new year has started and obviously I had to start the year off with a big bang! Well a "big bang" as in getting my wisdom teeth removed lol. What a great way to start off the new year right? So right now I'm being a real couch potato and I'm just switching back and forth with playing Sims 4 and watching anime on Hulu.
Surprisingly my face isn't all too chipmunk-like right now, but my doctor told me the swelling usually gets worse towards the third or fourth day after surgery. Overall the procedure took about 3 and a half hours long because aside from getting my wisdom teeth taken out the procedure also included exposing one of my lower teeth because it never shifted up and instead it shifted down toward my jaw bone. And unfortunately they weren't able to expose it and connect a bracket and chain to it so they could connect those to my braces and gradually the chain will be tugging the tooth to shift up, however the tooth had already fused with my jaw bone so for right now they just cut some of the bone above the tooth in hopes that the tooth will naturally shift up. *fingers crossed*
I know that was a lot of information to take it and believe me, it's just as complicated than it sounds.
Overall I feel pretty normal just somewhat drowsy from all the medication I have to take post-surgery.
