Today was actually not as blazing hot as yesterday because there was a heavenly breeze going on. Yesterday there was no wind and no shade at all and well, you get the point. At first I was regretting wearing shorts to campus because the breeze made the weather colder than it actually was, but then as noon came around the temperature rose back up! Blahhh

But yeah this afternoon after class was really interesting. I had McDonalds for the first time in like 3 months. Oh my goodness it was terrible lol. The whole time I was thinking about how much I'd have to work this off and couldn't stop focusing on how unhealthy I felt. And while at McDonalds this group of kids from the high school up the street came in and they looked like trouble (not to be judgmental or anything) but according to Mark (whom I was with at the time , and Kimmy and Chris) said that that group of kids were banned from that particular McDonalds. And soon enough one of the employees confronted the group saying how they're refusing to serve them because they were banned. I really want to know what they could have possibly done to be banned from a McDonalds, but I guess it's a blessing in disguise because now they can't eat any McDonalds and be somewhat healthier lol.

And while walking to McDonalds I saw a bunch of artwork that for some reason I haven't noticed before. Outside that same coffee shop Chris and I went to before there was this sidewalk drawing of Felix, The Cat ! And then further down the road and on the side of this bike shop was this awesome mural of a wave!

Find Felix, The Cat on Freeport near Espresso Metro!

I look kind of gross and like such a tourist with my I <3 NY shirt & Peace sign haha
Thanks Chris for standing in the middle of the street and taking the picture for me :)
After McDonalds I walked Chris back to campus as usual and headed towards the train station. I thought that maybe if I waited for a little bit and let the traffic calm down a bit that there would be less people on the train but nope, the train was actual more crowded than when I usual go home. And I don't know why but I guess all the high schoolers decided to skip school today because there was a very large amount of high schoolers on the train.
OH and I crossed paths with Rick James again! And for those who don't know, Rick James is this older man on campus that likes to sing and perform old R&B songs in the middle of the quad in the cafeteria. I love running into this man, especially when he's on the train (which is where I ran into him today) because he just gets up and stands in the middle of the train and beats on the walls while singing his songs haha. I wish I could've recorded him to show you guys but the train was too crowded for me to get a good angle of him.

And I don't know why I am so obsessed with the postage car. You know? The car that the mailman drives around? I probably saw a total of five of them today. I love it lol. I kind of always wanted to be a mail-woman (?) because it seems like a "happy job." I know that sounds weird, I tried to explain it to Chris and he gave me the most WTF face evar lol. But I mean I'm pretty sure being a mailman can suck every now and then but idk just the look of being a mailman gives off the vibe "happy" to me. Okay, I'll stop freaking you guys out now haha.

I was taking a break from studying and decided to try and find a new game app to download because I was getting bored with endless levels of Sudoku. And while searching for a game I noticed the category "Bizarre Games" and decided to check it out and I came across the cutest games ever =^_^=

Bread Kittens is my new addiction *meow*
it goes because my name is Kat hahaha

So basically the game kind of reminds me of Pokemon. Your character/avatar is a chef and your goal is to collect all the different kinds of kitties out there in the world while also learning new recipes as you move along throughout the game. Your avatar travels along this map and each circle is where you come across a rouge cat to battle.

And when in battle, the screen looks like this and there is a gauge at the bottom that determines how strong your attack is going to be. And then there's the bread icon in the top right hand corner (the one with the green check mark on it) and that bread is what you use to capture the kitty you're battling. See, kind of just like Pokemon.

And then when you win, it shows you a screen with all the kitties you've collected so far and how much they've leveled up after each battle.

When you've gathered enough ingredients and unlock a new recipe, you would go to the bakery and select what kind of bread you'd want to bake. Various breads have special abilities, from helping prevent less damage to your kitty to making their attacks stronger. I've just started playing so I don't know what else there is you can unlock, but so far it seems like a pretty cute game! It's really repetitive though, but knowing how I am, I won't stop playing the game until I get ridiculously bored with it or until I unlock every single recipe and capture all the different kitties out there! I'm feeling like Ash right now  lmao I gotta catch 'em all !

Okay, I know what you guys are probably wondering. What up with the title to this post, right? First off let me just say I know pretty much absolutely nothing about football or football terminology. I also don't know for sure if you really do or do not need a second "generation" black belt to play football, but I am just quoting this guy on the train today.

Let me start from the very beginning of my day. First off, I was running late, as usual. I'm rushing to get ready, all that good stuff. I managed to get to the train station on time, I got on the train and then this guy sits in front of me, and that is when I knew my day was going to be a good one. This guy, he didn't look homeless or anything, he wore decent looking clothes and looked sane. But once he started talking I knew I was wrong. He even said it himself, he listed out the months up to this month, "January.. February, March, April. . okay. .I'll probably go crazy in May," the guy admits. The whole time I was trying to let my eyes rest, so I never
really looked at the guy aside from when he first sat down in front of me, so I just assumed he was talking on the phone, but nope the guy was just talking out loud to himself and whoever else bothered to listen. And the whole train ride all the way to 16th street, this guy said the most outrageous things. He kept talking about vinegar water and how it tasted like crap and then he went on about how the girl next to him, "Has some really nice, moist looking ears," and how he, "just wants to suck on them." I should've felt uncomfortable sitting by this guy, but I felt like the things he was saying were more hilarious rather than crude lol. That guy was really something else haha.

Chris' cup of hot chocolate. 'Yes'

Moving onto when I got to campus. I felt pretty good because I was actually understanding the lesson in class today. Also class went by a hell of a lot faster than usual. After class I finally got to try the pizza bread I've been DYING to try at The Sandwich Spot. Mmmm, it was pretty good. I felt like if they had a Hawaiian Pizza Bread, it would be the stuff. OH and before hitting up The Sandwich Spot, my friend Chris and I stopped by next door at Espresso Metro. and they had this awesome painting of Allan from The Hangover hanging on their wall. And I thought it was kind of funny how on Chris' cup of hot chocolate they wrote the word "yes" on his cup. I mean I pretty sure it has something to do with what he ordered, but idk it just looked funny to me haha.

Painting of Allan from The Hangover and pizza bread from The Sandwich Spot :)
the cashier accidentally only charged me 49 cents for the pizza bread. haha discount score!

The workers at Espresso Metro were so cooky, I can't think of better adjective. Like they were really silly and hella nice lol. I think I'm going to start going there more often and not only because the employees seem cool but I like their interior haha.

Then when I was on my way home I ran into this guy who asked me if he could use my phone, and I totally wasn't thinking at the time and thought letting the guy use my phone to make a call wouldn't hurt anyone. But then I overheard the things he was saying to the person on the other line and I think he was doing a drug deal. GREAT, so if he gets caught and the cops track my number I'm gonna be in some deep doo-doo haha.

It has been a really great day nonetheless! I haven't had such a great day in such a long time :)
Later tonight my aunt and I made plans to get sushi and some Vietnamese dessert at this place called Bambu and I really hope we go because then I could end my great day with some great dessert :)

Adieu everyone! I hope you guys are having as much of a great day as I am :D

Adieu everyone! I hope you guys are having as much of a great day as I am :D

Hi everyone! So today I had 2:45 English class and we had to do presentations. I swear, I get so nervous when talking in front of a crowd. But I'm proud of myself for not turning red like a tomato, like I usually do, and manged to get through the presentation with ease. I admit my hands were getting kind of shaky but I was already done with my presentation before it got to bad. After class I went straight home and boy was it a HOT walk from the train station to my house. And right when I took one step into the house my uncle texted me invited me out for pho at our usual pho place. And of course, I took his offer after having barely eating anything all day.

Mmm, pho with rare steak and an avocado shake with tapioca pearls from Pho Bac Hoa Viet :)

After I was done eating I could feel my stomach wanting to explode! But it was definitely worth it, Hoa Viet never disappoints and that is why it is my uncle and my favorite place to get pho :)

After a satisfying trip to Hoa Viet I haven't done much but laze around in my room and Skype with my cousin Leslie. :)

p.s

I was staring at my leg, don't ask me why, and I'm developing a faint tan line starting at the ankle. You know? That one tan line where from your ankle and down it's just pale and the rest of you leg is tan? Yeah, I need to stop wearing sneakers or shorts while out in the sun lol. Or at least wear sunblock/sunscreen when outside. Also, what is the difference between sunblock and sunscreen? Don't they both do the same thing? Okay yeah I'm gonna go shower now.
